Roulette Rules

The game of roulette is you playing against the house represented by the croupier otherwise known as the dealer. The dealer spins the wheel and sorts wagers and payout's. In online roulette this is all automated, in live roulette an actually person will do this. in European roulette the wheel has 37 numbers that the ball can land on.

When playing you will have the opportunity to buy different valued chips in your own currency up to the table maximum bet. When you are able to cash out these chips become their cash equivalent.

To play roulette you place the chips on the numbers on the table layout and wait for the croupier to spin the wheel. If your number hits you win and will receive your winnings from the croupier and you can then move on to the next spin.

There are many different types of bet you can place in roulette which are divided into inside and outside bets. For example an inside bet would be betting on a single number, whilst an outside bet would involve betting on a section of numbers such as all red, or a column.

The different types of bet have different payout's. A summary of European roulette payout's is given below

A bet on one single number pays 35/1
A two-number bet, called split bet, pays 17/1.
A three-number bet, called street bet, pays 11/1.
A four-number bet, called corner bet, pays 8/1.
A six-number bet, pays 5/1.
A bet on the outside dozen or column, pays 2/1.
A bet on the outside even money bets, pays 1/1.
A bet on either red or black, pays 1 /1

The object of roulette is to predict where the ball will land after each spin of the wheel. This is achieved through either luck or methodology such as roulette systems and money management systems.
